Microsoft Windows 7 is going End-of-Life and End-of-Support in January 2020
After January 6, 2020, Windows 7 will not be approved for use on the USPTO production network or Domain. All USPTO workstations still running Microsoft Windows 7 after January 6, 2020, will have their machine account disabled.
The OCIO strongly recommends that all users move to Windows 10 prior to January, 2020, in order to maintain access to PTONet.
