Credit Card Payment Maintenance
Due to third-party system maintenance activities, credit/debit card payments will not be accepted from 6 -10 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 24.
During the maintenance period, the following USPTO storefronts will be unable to accept credit/debit card payments:
- Patent Center
- Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (P-TACTS)
- Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (FPNG)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASI)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Assignment Center (IPAS)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Customer Interface (OEDCI)
- Certified Copy Center (CCC)
Customers with an already established USPTO Deposit Account or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Account may still pay using one of these payment methods during the maintenance window.
If you are unable to wait until the maintenance activity has concluded to pay a fee, the following alternative options are available:

Support for the online fee payment management system, and USPTO.gov accounts, is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET (except federal holidays).
PTAB Customers: If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other associated documents to a pending America Invents Act (AIA) case and you cannot file electronically via the Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System, (P-TACTS) you may use an alternative filing method. Please visit the PTAB-E2E FAQ page: https://www.uspto.gov/patents/ptab/ptab-e2e-frequently-asked-questions and see A2 for information concerning your America Invents Act (AIA) petition filing and/or document filing using P-TACTS alternative filing methods. Trademark Customers: Filing deadlines that fall on a Saturday extend the filing deadline to the next business day. Please try filing again after the maintenance ends. If you have any questions, contact the TEAS Team by email at TEAS@uspto.gov.

Assignments on the Web (AOTW) and Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
The USPTO Certified Copy and Assignments (CC&A) Product team will perform an administrative database connection migration from TRAM to TRM database in production on PTAS and AHD databases beginning at 9 a.m. ET, Saturday, February 24 and ending at 4 p.m. ET, Sunday, February 25.
During the maintenance period, the following system products will be unavailable:

- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
