Trademark System Retirement
The USPTO will retire Trademark External Search System (TESS) beginning at 12 p.m. on November 30 ET.
Trademark Design and Search Code Manual (TDSCM) will be retired beginning at 11:59 p.m. on November 30 ET.
Users will need to save all work and exit the systems before the retirement.
System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Patent Center from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 30 ET.
During this maintenance period, availability of Supplemental Content data for new applications and follow-ons filed will be delayed in Patent Center.
Please check Patent Center after the maintenance period for confirmation of availability of the Supplemental Content Data.
Electronic
System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform
maintenance on Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
system from 12:01 a.m. until 1 a.m. on Saturday, December 2 ET.
During the maintenance period,
ESTTA will be unavailable.
Assignments Historical Database (AHD) and Patent and Trademark Assignment System (PTAS) Migration
The USPTO Certified Copy and Assignments (CC&A) Product team will perform database migration to Rocky Linux in production on PTAS and AHD databases beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, December 2 and ending at 4 p.m., Sunday, December 3 ET.
During the maintenance period, the following system products will be unavailable:
• AHD
• Assignments on the Web (AOTW)
• Electronic Patent Assignment System (EPAS)
• Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)
• Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Inquiry System (TTABVUE)
• Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
