TSDR Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, October 2 and ending at 11 p.m., Friday, October 2 ET.
You can still check the status of a trademark application and retrieve documents directly from TSDR at https://tsdr.uspto.gov/. Only the TSDR Application Programming Interface (API) will be unavailable.
If you rely on third-party organizations to receive TSDR information, these services may be impacted during the maintenance period.
PALM-PCT_OPS Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on servers affecting Patent Cooperation Treaty Operations (Formerly POWER) (PALM-PCT_OPS) beginning at midnight, Saturday, October 3 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3 ET.
PALM-PCT_OPS will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Multiple System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, October 9 and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, October 9 ET.
The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Patent Center
- EFS-Web for Registered eFilers
- Private PAIR
- Sponsorship Tool
During this maintenance period, if you need to file a new patent application, you can use EFS-Web for unregistered eFilers or EFS-Web Contingency. If you need to file a follow-on submission, use an alternative filing method.

Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG systems beginning at 12 a.m., Saturday, October 3 and ending at 4 a.m., Saturday, October 3 ET.
The following systems will be impacted:
- Trademarks Electronic Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available.

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG systems beginning at 11 p.m., Saturday, October 3 and ending at 5 a.m., Sunday, October 4 ET.
The following systems will be impacted:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page.
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will not be available.
- Trademarks Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM) will not be available.
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms will not be available.
- TTAB Reading Room will not be available.
The following systems will remain available, but links to and images derived from TSDR will be unavailable, including mark images.

- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
Maintenance Impacting Manuals (eMPEP, TMEP, TFSR, and TBMP)
The OCIO will perform maintenance impacting several manuals beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, October 4 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, October 4 ET.
During the maintenance period the following manuals will be unavailable:
- Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (eMPEP)
- Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure (TMEP)
- Trademark Federal Statutes and Rules (TFSR)
- Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Manual of Procedure (TBMP)
OEDIS Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Office of Enrollment and Discipline Patent Practitioner Search, Registered Practitioner Portal, and Exam Applicant Portal (OEDCI) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, October 4 and ending at 6 a.m., Sunday, October 4 ET.
OEDCI will be unavailable during the maintenance period. Patent Trial Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-E2E) users will be unable to access OEDIS during the maintenance period.
Trademarks Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) and X-Search beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 3 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3 ET.
During the maintenance period, TESS and X-Search will be unavailable.
