TSDR Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, October 2 and ending at 11 p.m., Friday, October 2 ET.
You can still check the status of a trademark application and retrieve documents directly from TSDR at https://tsdr.uspto.gov/. Only the TSDR Application Programming Interface (API) will be unavailable.
If you rely on third-party organizations to receive TSDR information, these services may be impacted during the maintenance period.
PALM-PCT_OPS Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on servers affecting Patent Cooperation Treaty Operations (Formerly POWER) (PALM-PCT_OPS) beginning at midnight, Saturday, October 3 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3 ET.
PALM-PCT_OPS will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Multiple System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 3 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, October 3 ET.
The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Patent Center
- EFS-Web for Registered eFilers
- Private PAIR
- Sponsorship Tool
During this maintenance period, if you need to file a new patent application, you can use EFS-Web for unregistered eFilers or EFS-Web Contingency. If you need to file a follow-on submission, use an alternative filing method.

Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG systems beginning at 12 a.m., Saturday, October 3 and ending at 4 a.m., Saturday, October 3 ET.
The following systems will be impacted:
- Trademarks Electronic Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available.
