The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web beginning at 12 a.m., Friday, September 25 and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, September 25 ET.
EFS-Web will be unavailable during the maintenance period. If you need to file a new application, please use EFS-Web Contingency or Patent Center. For follow-on submissions, please use Patent Center or an alternative filing method.
Vendor Portal
The USPTO will perform system maintenance on the Vendor Portal beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, September 25 and ending at 3 a.m., Friday, September 25 ET.
Vendor Portal will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Multiple System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, September 26 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, September 26 ET.
The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

EFS-Web for Registered eFilers
Private PAIR
Sponsorship Tool
During this maintenance period, if you need to file a new patent application, you can use EFS-Web for unregistered eFilers or EFS-Web Contingency. If you need to file a follow-on submission, use an alternative filing method.
