Enterprise Access Infrastructure System (EAIS) Migration
The USPTO will perform a DMZ migration on EAIS from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data Center in Manassas, beginning at 10 p.m., Wednesday, July 12 and ending at 3 a.m., Thursday, July 13 ET.
Note: EAIS will be unavailable during the migration window. If customers have any issues after the maintenance, please call the Service Desk.
Trademark Madrid System (MCRP) Migration
The USPTO will perform a DMZ migration on Madrid from the Production Data Center in Alexandria to a new Data Center in Manassas from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 15 ET.
Note: Madrid will be unavailable during the migration window. If customers have any issues after the maintenance, please call the Service Desk.
Patent Electronic Filing System – Web (EFS-Web) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on EFS-Web from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 16 ET.
During this maintenance period, Fee Worksheets and Acknowledgement Receipts for submissions will not be generated.
Applicants may file submissions in EFS-Web during this time but wait until Monday for those documents to be generated. Applicants may still file submissions via Patent Center.
Multiple System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on multiple systems from 12 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Sunday, July 16 ET.
During the maintenance period, the below systems will be unavailable:
• Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
• Trademark Trial and Appeal Board VUE (TTABVUE)
