Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting the TESS system beginning at 11:59 p.m., Monday, May 8 and ending at 2 a.m., Tuesday, May 9 ET.
During the maintenance period, TESS will be unavailable.
Links to TESS will not be available from the following systems:
- Trademark Design Search Codes Manual (TDSCM)
- TM Exam (Link to TESS unavailable)
Integrated Quality System (IQS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on IQS systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10 ET.
During the maintenance period, IQS will be unavailable.
Users should save all work and log off before the maintenance period begins.
Patent Application Text Initiative - Continuous Data Conversion (PATI-CDC) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on PATI-CDC systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10 ET.
During the maintenance period, PATI-CDC will be unavailable.
Users should refrain from attempting to submit new search requests during the maintenance period.
Patent Office Action to XML (P-OA2XML) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the P-OA2XML systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10 ET.
During the maintenance period, DOCX and XML downloads will not be available in Private-PAIR and Patent Center.
Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems from 12:01 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 11 ET.
During this maintenance period, availability of Supplemental Content data for new applications and follow-ons filed will be delayed in the following systems:
- Patent Center
- Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)
Please check Patent Center or Private PAIR after the maintenance period for confirmation of availability of the Supplemental Content Data. If you have questions, please contact the Patent Electronic Business Center (EBC) at (866) 217-9197 during their operating hours of 6 a.m. to midnight, Monday - Friday ET, or email: ebc@uspto.gov.
Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems
from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10 ET.
During the maintenance period, user access to the following
