Planned Events
Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG Systems beginning at 12 a.m., Thursday, October 28 and ending at 6 a.m., Thursday, October 28 ET.
The following systems will be impacted:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page.
- Trademarks Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM) will not be available.
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms will not be available.
- TTAB Reading Room will not be available.
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will be available, but all documents may not be viewable.
The following systems will remain available, but links to and images derived from TSDR will be unavailable, including mark images.

- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on servers affecting Electronic Patent Assignment System (EPAS), Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS), and Assignment on the Web (AOTW) Systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, October 29 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, October 29 ET.
During the maintenance period, users may experience intermittent issues with EPAS, ETAS, and AOTW.
Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on multiple systems servers beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 30 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, October 30 ET.
During the maintenance period, below component services will not be available.
- ESTTA - Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals
- FAST1/2 - First Actions System for Trademarks (1.0) (2.0)
- TTABVUE- Trademark Trial and Appeal Board VUE
- TTAB Reading-Room - Trademark Trial and Appeals Board - Reading Room
Supplemental Complex Repository for Examiners (SCORE) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on SCORE from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Saturday, October 30 ET.
The Supplemental Content of Public and Private PAIR will be unavailable during the maintenance.
TEAS and TEASi System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 30 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, October 31 ET.
During the maintenance period, TEAS and TEASi will be intermittently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Trademark Database Servers Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Database servers beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, October 31st and end at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, October 31st ET.
During the maintenance period, below component services will not be available.
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
- Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Inquiry System (TTABVUE)
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
Trademark Electronic Search System (TM-TESS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the TM-TESS application from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 31 ET.
During the maintenance period, TM-TESS will be unavailable.
Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG Systems beginning at 10 a.m., Sunday, October 31 and ending at 12 p.m., Sunday, October 31 ET.
The following systems may incur a brief outage or loss of functionality during the maintenance:
- Trademark Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM)
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG)
