Payment Processing Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Payment Processing system beginning at midnight, Saturday, March 13 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, March 13 ET.
During the maintenance period, external payment processing across the USPTO storefronts will be unavailable and the following systems will be impacted:
- Electronic Filing System-Web-Contingency (EFS-Web/EFS-Web Contingency)
- Patent Center
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-E2E)
- Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (FPNG)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (International) (TEASI)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
- Certified Copy Center (CCC)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Roster (OEDCI)
In addition, all services on the Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront website including bulk file submissions will not be available. Access to timely Financial Manager stored payment statements, posted transactions, and the ability to create new accounts will be unavailable.
Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) system beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, March 13 and ending at 2 a.m., Sunday, March 14 ET.
The following systems will also be impacted:
- Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure (TMEP)
- Trademark Design Search Codes Manual (TDSCM)
