Planned Events

Private PAIR Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Private-PAIR beginning at 11:59 p.m., Thursday, December 3 and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, December 4 ET.

During the maintenance period, the system will not be available.

Trademark System Maintenance

The following Trademark systems may have reduced functionality on Thursday, December 3, from 12:01-3 a.m. ET:

• Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page. 
• Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will be available, but some documents may not be viewable. 
• Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms will not be available.
• TTAB Reading room will not be available.

TEAS and TEASi System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, December 5 and ending at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.

During the maintenance period, TEAS and TEASi will be unavailable.

Multiple Systems Maintenance

The OCIO will perform maintenance on servers affecting multiple systems beginning at 12 a.m., Saturday , December 5 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.

The following systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:     

    • Patent Examination Data System (PEDS)   
    • Electronic Patent Assignment System (EPAS) 
    • Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)

Trademark Status and Document Retrieval Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) from 12:01 a.m., Saturday, December 5 and ending at 3 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.

TSDR will not be available.

Links to TSDR will not be available from the following systems:

     • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
     • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
     • Trademarks Electronic Official Gazette (TMOG)
     • Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Viewing on the Web (TTABVUE)
     • Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS)
     • USPTO TM Status mobile app

Vendor Portal Deployment

The USPTO will perform a system deployment affecting the Vendor Portal beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, December 5 and ending at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.​​

During the maintenance period, Vendor Portal will be unavailable​ and external users will not be able to submit invoices and eDeliverables.​

Multiple System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Assignments on the Web (AOTW) beginning at 12 a.m., Saturday, December 5 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.

During the maintenance period, the systems listed will be unavaliable:

     •*Legacy* Patent Assignment Search(http://legacy-assignments.uspto.gov/assignments/?db=pat)​​

     •​*Legacy* Trademark Assignment​(http://legacy-assignments.uspto.gov/assignments/?db=tm)

Patent Assignment Search (https://assignment.uspto.gov/) will be available but Users will be un​able to access PDF during the maintenance period.
