Payment Processing Unavailable

Due to technical problems, credit card payment processing and EFTs are currently unavailable in EFS-Web, TEAS, and other online systems.

The USPTO is aware of the problem and will continue to work on the issue until it is resolved.

EFS-Web Customers

For EFS-Web, please submit payment using an alternative payment method. ePetitions, eTerminal Disclaimers, Web 85b, and other submissions which require payment at time of submission are also unavailable. Users may pay application fees by including a written authorization to charge the desired deposit account. Except for National Stage applications, fees may be submitted via fax. Fees may also be submitted by sending the payment via "Priority Mail Express" through the USPS in accordance with 37 CFR 1.10 and the legal framework on the same day of filing. TEAS and TEASi Customers

If you have a filing due today and the document cannot be filed via TEAS, you must use an alternative method of filing to ensure that the document is timely received by the USPTO.

Public PAIR Customers

Public PAIR is also experiencing intermittent service interruptions.
