Critical Microsoft Security Patches Deployment
The USPTO will deploy Critical Microsoft Security Patches to all production Windows Servers beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 17 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Thursday, May 18 ET.
During this period, USPTO-wide applications may become unavailable for the duration of the server restart. No end user action is required for this maintenance.
For Patents Customers:
If you need to file a patent application, follow-on document, or fee payment during the maintenance period, please use an alternative payment method.
For Trademark Customers:
While TEAS/TEASi are not expected to be impacted, if your deadline is today and you are unable to file using TEAS/TEASi, you must use an alternative method of filing.
