Multiple Planned Maintenances
PTAB E2E Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 14 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, October 14 ET.
During the maintenance period, PTAB E2E will be unavailable.
After the maintenance is complete, please clear your browser cache before accessing PTAB E2E.
Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Next Generation (TMNG) system beginning at 8 p.m., Saturday, October 14 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Monday, October 16 ET.
Trademark Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM), and Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will be unavailable; however, the PDF version of the gazette will be available during the maintenance period.
Trademarks Search and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will be available with reduced functionality during the maintenance period.
The maintenance will also prevent use of the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms.
System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform systems maintenance beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, October 14 and ending at 3 a.m., Sunday, October 15 ET.
The maintenance may cause momentary outages during the maintenance window to the following systems:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG)
- Trademarks Search and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
Alternative filing instructions and payment options are provided below in the event of an unanticipated outage.

If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other associated documents to a pending AIA case and you cannot file electronically via the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End System (PTAB-E2E), you may use an alternative filing method. Please visit the PTAB-E2E FAQ page (https://www.uspto.gov/patents-application-process/patent-trial-and-appeal-board/ptab-e2e-frequently-asked-questions) and see A2 for information concerning your AIA petition filing and/or document filing using PTAB-E2E alternative filing methods. For Trademark Customers:

Maintenance Impacting Image Files in AIW and PIW
The USPTO will perform maintenance impacting Application Images on the Web (AIW) and Patent Images on the Web (PIW) beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, October 15 and ending at 11 p.m., Sunday, October 15 ET.
During the maintenance period, users may experience intermittent disruption of access to image files in AIW and PIW.
