Digital Certificate Management (DCM) Maintenance

The USPTO will be performing maintenance impacting the Digital Certificate Management (DCM) website beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 28 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, July 28 ET.

During this maintenance period, users will be unable to manage their External Public Key Infrastructure (EPKI) profiles via the DCM website.

MyUSPTO and Fee Processing Maintenance

The USPTO will perform system maintenance beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 28 and ending at 4 a.m., Saturday, July 28 ET.

The maintenance will cause an outage to the my.uspto.gov website, Financial Manager, an outage to Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront, and interruption to payment processing for USPTO storefronts. Users of the following systems should not attempt to make a payment during the maintenance period:

  • Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web) and EFS-Web Contingency
  • Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront
  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
  • Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
  • Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
  • Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
  • Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E)

 

For Patent Customers:

New applications and regular follow-on submissions may be filed during the maintenance period, but please do not submit ePetitions, eTerminal Disclaimers, Web 85b, or any submissions which require successful online fee payment at time of submissions.

If your deadline is today and the document requiring a fee payment cannot be filed electronically, you must use an alternative method of filing. Office of Enrollment and Discipline Roster of Patent Attorneys/Agents (OEDCI) Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Office of Enrollment and Discipline Roster of Patent Attorneys/Agents (OEDCI) beginning at 7 a.m., Saturday, July 28 and ending at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 28 ET.

OEDCI will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

Credit/Debit Card Maintenance

The third-party card processing provider for USPTO payment system, Pay.gov, is performing maintenance beginning at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 28 and ending at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, July 29 ET. All USPTO storefronts are expected to remain available, however, credit/debit card payment processing through all USPTO storefronts will be unavailable during the maintenance period. Please submit payment using an alternative payment method.

For Patent Customers:
