ID Manual & TESS Search Problem and TEASi Payment Error Message
A system-wide problem with the Acceptable Identification of Goods and Services Manual (ID Manual) available on the USPTO website is being investigated. Returned search results may include truncated entries that should not be relied upon.
The version of ID Manual supporting new application filings in TEAS is not impacted at this time. Applications may be completed using TEAS Plus and regular TEAS by selecting complete entries from the ID Manual.
The problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
USPTO is currently experiencing technical issues with Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS). All Trademark searches conducted after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23 must be redone.
Please do not use the service at this time. Additionally, all Trademark searches using TESS conducted between 5 a.m. Saturday, April 20 and 5 a.m. Sunday, April 21 must be redone.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our payment system for customers using the Subsequent Designation form. Users of this form may receive an “Internal Failure” error message after submitting payment information. Although the financial portion of the transaction completed, a technical glitch prevented the subsequent designation form from updating with the payment information.
