PALM Maintenance
The USPTO will perform emergency maintenance on multiple systems beginning at 10 p.m., Tuesday August 21 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday August 22 ET.
The systems listed below will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
- Public Patent Application Information Retrieval (Public PAIR)
- Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)
- Electronic Filing System and Contingency (EFS-Web and EFS-Web Contingency)
- Patent Global Dossier Public Access Dossier (P-GD-PAD)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Information System (OEDIS)
- Electronic Freedom of Information Act (E-FOIA)
- Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront
- Electronic Patent Assignment System (ePAS)
- Patent Review Process System (PRPS)
- Global Dossier (GD)
- One Portal Dossier (OPD)
- Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web)
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-2E)
- Order Entry Management System (OEMS)

Users who make updates using Private PAIR will not be able to review the updates until after the maintenance is complete.
During the maintenance period, if you are unable to file patent applications or submissions, please use an alternative filing method.
