Current Status
MyUSPTO Maintenance
The USPTO is performing monthly MyUSPTO (my.uspto.gov) maintenance beginning at 12:01 a.m., Thursday, May 25 and ending at 4 a.m., Thursday, May 25 ET.
Registration for new accounts will not be available during the maintenance period. The maintenance will also impact the ability for Financial Manager users to add new users or make changes to user permissions for stored payment methods.
Network Maintenance
The USPTO will be performing a network upgrade beginning at 11:55 p.m., Thursday, May 25 and ending at 3 a.m., Friday, May 26 ET.
During the maintenance period, users trying to access USPTO.gov connected sites may experience brief and intermittent connectivity issues.
If access to USPTO.gov connected sites are unavailable, please wait several minutes and try again.
MyUSPTO and Fee Processing Maintenance
The USPTO will perform system maintenance beginning at midnight, Friday, May 26 and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, May 26 ET.
The maintenance will cause an outage to the my.uspto.gov website, Financial Manager, an outage to Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront, and interruption to payment processing for USPTO storefronts. Users of the following systems should not attempt to make a payment during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web)
- Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
- Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E)

For Trademark Customers:
If your deadline is today and the document requiring a fee payment cannot be filed electronically, you must use an alternative method of filing. Please visit the Outage Page for information concerning Trademark alternative filing methods. In addition, forms that do not require a fee payment can still be filed. If you have any questions, contact the TEAS Team by email at TEAS@uspto.gov.
For TTAB Customers:
If your deadline is today and the document cannot be filed electronically, you must use an alternative method of filing. Please visit the Outage Page for information concerning TTAB alternative filing methods. Patent Trial Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E) Maintenance
The OCIO will be performing maintenance on the Patent Trial Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, May 26, and ending at 5 a.m., Friday, May 26 ET.
The PTAB E2E will be unavailable during this maintenance period.
