Upcoming planned events
Card Payment Maintenance
Due to third-party system maintenance activities, credit/debit card payments will not be accepted from 6-10 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 14.
During the maintenance period, the following USPTO storefronts will be unable to accept credit/debit card payments:
- Assignment Center (IPAS)
- Certified Copy Center (CCC)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Customer Interface (OEDCI)
- Patent Center (PC)
- Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (P-MFS)
- Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (P-TACTS)
- Trademark Center (TC)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASI)
- Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Center (TTABC)
Customers with an already established USPTO Deposit Account or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Account may still pay using one of these payment methods during the maintenance window.
If you are unable to wait until the maintenance activity has concluded to pay a fee, the following alternative options are available:
Patent/PTAB/P-TACTS Customers: For more information about submitting alternative methods of payments during system maintenance, please visit here.
Trademark Customers: Filing deadlines that fall on a Saturday extend the filing deadline to the next business day. Please try filing again after the maintenance ends. If you have any questions, contact the TEAS Team by email at TEAS@uspto.gov.

Network Maintenance
There is planned Network circuit (NOAA N-Wave) maintenance from 6-10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 18. Users may experience intermittent disruptions during this time.
During this maintenance period, Patent Center may experience intermittent service interruptions. Please refer to our Filing Documents during an Outage page for other alternative filing methods.
