Fee Payment Processing Outage

The USPTO is currently experiencing an issue with Fee Payment Processing as of 5 a.m. Thursday, August 31 ET.

Fee payment processing is currently unavailable across the USPTO Storefronts listed below: 

    • Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web)

    • Patent Center

    • Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (P-TACTS)

    • Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (FPNG)

    • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)

    • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASI)

    • Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (ESTTA)

    • Office of Enrollment and Discipline Customer Interface (OEDCI)

    • Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)

P-TACTS Customers: If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other associated documents to a pending America Invents Act (AIA) case and you cannot file electronically via the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-E2E) System, you may use an alternative filing method.
