Updates on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) from WIPO

Join us for a presentation and discussion on current and future developments of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).  Matthew Bryan, Director of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Legal Division at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), will present and lead a discussion aimed at experienced PCT users. He will provide an update on the current status of the system, its recent developments, and future directions.

About the presenter:
Matthew Bryan has served as Director of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Legal Division at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) since 2004.  In his role, Mr. Bryan is in charge of providing legal and strategic advice on use of the PCT, PCT-related teaching and training, relations with PCT users, the PCT Infoline, the PCT portion of the WIPO website and the PCT legal and informational texts. 

This session is designed for advanced PCT users and those who would like to learn more about the patent system and have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of the patent system.  This event is free and open to the public.  Please register here by June 19, 2017.
