World IP Day Event - Patent Application Filing Basics

The San Diego Intellectual Property Series continues with out next installment: Patent Application Filing Basics.  West Coast Regional U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Director John Cabeca returns to present the basics of filing a patent application.

This session is designed for inventors, entrepreneurs, and those who would like to learn more about filing a patent application. The seminar focuses on capturing your invention throughout your disclosure (e.g., specification, drawings, and claims) and will briefly discuss formality requirements (e.g., fonts sizes, margins, etc.). Additionally, attendees should have a basic understanding of patents.

World Intellectual Property Day 2018 will also be celebrated featuring a short program before the featured Patent Application Filing Basics presentation.
