USPTO seeks senior artificial intelligence expert
WASHINGTON – The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking applications for its newly created position of senior level artificial intelligence (AI) technical expert. The role will provide technical expertise in developing solutions for real-world, large-scale problems using artificial intelligence at the USPTO. The vacancy will be open until November 8.
The senior level AI technical expert will serve as the principal advisor to the agency’s chief information officer on operationalizing artificial intelligence within the agency. The new position supports the office’s continuing initiatives to develop artificial intelligence tools for the examination of patent and trademark applications.
