Search like an examiner with Patents Public Search

Are you interested in learning how to use the Patent Public Search (PPUBS) tool to search like an examiner? The USPTO’s Stakeholder Offerings and Resources (SOaR) program will launch a new training event where you will learn how examiners use PPUBS. The virtual webinar will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 3-5 p.m. ET.

An expert will demonstrate how to use PPUBS with examples of live searches, while highlighting techniques and proximity operators used by examiners. Additionally, a representative from the USPTO's Silicon Valley Regional Office will explain resources and programs offered by the regional offices.

Pre-register today

SOaR training events are virtual and free to the public, and pre-registration is required. Once you register, you will receive an email with instructions for joining the webinar. For more information on SOaR, email SOaR@uspto.gov.
