The United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Intellectual Property (IP) Attaché Program invites you to a virtual interactive roundtable discussion featuring IP attachés from around the world. 

The USPTO IP attachés will discuss:

  • A sample of international posts
  • Their day-to-day roles
  • Benefits of an IP attaché career
  • Their individual career paths

This roundtable discussion will be moderated by USPTO Texas Regional Director Hope Shimabuku. The IP attachés scheduled to attend represent the following regions:

The IP attachés are a great resource for U.S. IP rightsholders considering expanding into foreign markets and/or addressing challenging international IP rights issues, including IP rights enforcement in foreign jurisdictions or counterfeit goods exported into the U.S.

This roundtable discussion will allow ample opportunity for interaction and questions from the audience. This event is free and open to all.
