The United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Texas Regional Office and the USPTO Intellectual Property (IP) Attaché Program invite you to a virtual interactive round table discussion. The discussion will feature IP attachés from around the world and members of the USPTO Texas Regional Office.
This roundtable discussion will be moderated by USPTO Texas Regional Director Hope Shimabuku.
The IP attachés are a great resource for U.S. IP rights holders considering expanding into foreign markets and/or addressing challenging international IP rights issues, including IP rights enforcement in foreign jurisdictions or counterfeit goods exported into the U.S.
The USPTO IP attachés will discuss:
- A sample of international posts
- Their day-to-day roles
- Benefits of an IP attaché career
- Their individual career paths
This roundtable discussion will allow ample opportunity for interaction and questions from the audience. This event is free and open to all.
