Patent Wednesday

We invite you to bring your laptop, or other internet capable devices, to participate in the interactive portions of the searching demonstration and learn the basics of patent searching.

The Midwest Regional USPTO hosts an interactive question and answer session with our community outreach staff on patent process and resource navigation every 3rd Wednesday of each month. This month, presenters from the Midwest Regional Office will provide an overview on patent searching using publicly available tools and the Examiner’s Automated Search Tool (EAST), which is available at the Midwest Regional Office and Patent and Trademark Resource Centers (PTRCs) across the country.

An Economic Development Specialist from the Michigan Small Business Administration (Michigan SBA) will also provide an overview of their small business services and resource partners in counseling, capital, and contracting.

Space is limited, please register.
