Learn online how examiners approach double patenting

Want to be briefed on recent examination practice and procedure guidance on double patenting? Attend an interactive Virtual Instructor Led Training (vILT) course featuring recent training delivered to experienced USPTO examiners. The USPTO is approved for two hours of CLE credit in Virginia for this course.

This course reviews the different types of double patenting rejections with AIA updates, when a restriction does or does not prohibit double patenting, the various types of arguments and evidence applicants can provide to overcome a double patenting rejection, and several detailed examples of when double patenting is proper or improper.
