Are you an educator who has been teaching invention education or intellectual property education? Join the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Office of Education to learn about the Master Teacher of Invention Education Program (MTIP). In this information session you will learn about MTIP and how to apply.

The mission of MTIP is to cultivate a national network of teacher leaders who will empower educators to foster invention and intellectual property education for their students, who are the next generation of creative thinkers, problem solvers, inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

Join now to learn more about the MTIP application process. If selected as an MTIP participant, you will work closely with the USPTO's Office of Education and STEMisED to provide professional development opportunities to other educators interested in implementing invention and intellectual property education programs and activities in their classrooms, schools, districts, and local communities. Resources and training materials will be provided. Application deadline was October 5, 2022.
