The USPTO headquarters, Northeast Regional Outreach Office, and Southeast Regional Outreach Office are located in Alexandria, Virginia. We also operate additional regional outreach and community engagement offices across the nation. Please make sure you’re familiar with and abide by our USPTO removable media policy when visiting a USPTO outreach and community engagement office.
Patent and Trademark Resource Centers
Select libraries across the country and U.S. territories are designated as Patent and Trademark Resource Centers (PTRCs), which offer free public access to products and services, patent and trademark training, and reference assistance and outreach. Be sure to call ahead of your visit for hours of operation and services.
Libraries designated as PTRCs are not USPTO locations. PTRC personnel are library employees, not USPTO employees, and are not authorized to represent the USPTO.
