Applications with a filing date or international filing date on or before June 30, 2022, must comply with ST.25 text file format. Use PatentIn and Checker to generate and validate an ST.25 format sequence listing.
Applications with a filing date or international filing date on or after July 1, 2022, must comply with ST.26 XML format. Use WIPO Sequence to generate and validate an ST.26 format sequence listing.
PatentIn for ST.25 sequence listings

WIPO Sequence for ST.26 sequence listings
WIPO Sequence is a free software program designed to assist an applicant in preparing sequence listings in ST.26 format. Download WIPO Sequence version 2.3.0 and the User Manual.
Important note: Sequence listings created with older versions of WIPO Sequence may not be compliant with Standard ST.26. These sequence listings should be regenerated using WIPO Sequence 2.3.0 before filing as part of a U.S. or international patent application. The functionality and updates of WIPO Sequence fall under the sole responsibility of WIPO, not the USPTO.
