Providing representative information in the Application Data Sheet does not constitute a power of attorney in the application (see 37 CFR 1.32). To appoint or revoke a power of attorney, a properly signed power of attorney must be filed in the application. See USPTO Forms PTO/AIA/82, PTO/AIA/81, or PTO/AIA/80 (which must be accompanied by Form PTO/AIA/96).
