If you have not yet migrated your PKI account

If you are a patent practitioner or independent inventor with an existing PKI certificate that has NOT been migrated, please use the Migration Tool to link your existing PKI certificate with your account. The last day to migrate a PKI certificate to account will be posted on the Authentication Change page.

If you have not been sponsored

If you are a support staff member (paralegals, legal admins, and others), previously using a Practitioner's PKI certificate, you must now have your own account and be sponsored by a practitioner. Please request that the registered patent practitioner(s) whom you are supporting access the Sponsorship Tool to sponsor your account to allow you to work on their behalf. In order to sponsor support staff, a practitioner must first migrate to a account

If you are a new patent practitioner or independent inventor, please see instructions to register for a new verified account and the Patent Electronic System Access Document for information on the authentication, sponsorship, and verification for accessing the patent electronic system.

Public PAIR 

If you're unable to sign-in to Private PAIR with your account, you may use Public PAIR to access applications available to the public.
