Public Hearings on 18-Month Publication of Patent ApplicationsIn February 1995, the PTO held public hearings on issues associated with the 18-month publication of patent applications; the full details are available in the Federal Register Notice. The Federal Register Notice invited comments both in electronic and paper form, with a deadline of February 17. The comments from the February 15, 1995 hearing are now available for browsing either by question or by individual. The entire hearing transcript has been made available for viewing.
