Multiple System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 17 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, October 17 ET.
The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance :period:
- Patent Center
- EFS-Web for Registered eFilers
- Private PAIR
- Sponsorship Tool
During this maintenance period, if you need to file a new patent application, you can use EFS-Web for unregistered eFilers or EFS-Web Contingency. If you need to file a follow-on submission, use an alternative filing method.

Vendor Portal Maintenance
The Office of Financial Management Systems (OFMS) will perform software upgrade for the Vendor Portal beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, October 17 and ending at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 17 ET.
The Vendor Portal will be unavailable during the deployment.
Multiple System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on Patent Global Dossier Public Access Dossier (P-GD-PAD), One Portal Dossier (OPD), Electronic Patent Reference (EPR) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, October 17 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, October 17 ET.
During the maintenance period, Patent Global Dossier Public Access Dossier Global Dossier (P-GD-PAD), One Portal Dossier (OPD), Electronic Patent Reference (EPR) will be unavailable.
AOTW Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Assignments on the Web (AOTW) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, October 18 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, October 18 ET.
Legacy Patent Assignment Search and Legacy Trademark Assignment Search (http://legacy-assignments.uspto.gov/assignments/) will be unavailable during the maintenance period. Additionally, Patent Assignment Search (https://assignment.uspto.gov/) will be available but not able to access PDF during the maintenance period.
