Trademark basics - virtual only

Start your business: Trademark basics

If you are considering applying for a trademark, but are new to the process, this program is for you. Join USPTO Attorney Advisor for Trademark Educational Outreach Jason Lott for a discussion of the benefits of federal trademark registration, whether or not you need an attorney, and more. Register early for this free online event.

Participants will also learn about San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Inc.'s free resources for under-resourced entrepreneurs.

The May 27 session will be offered virtually via WebEx for those who have registered for the class.

This event is intended for individuals with a beginning to intermediate level of knowledge of trademarks. To get the most out of the discussion, we recommend participants view some of the informational videos regarding trademark registration before the session and prepare specific questions.
