The Office of Patent Examination Support Services (OPESS) supports the patent examination process through analysis, technical, administrative and clerical work and services. Daily, we support the patent examination process through the processing of newly filed applications, incoming and outgoing correspondence, allowed applications, PCTs, Re-Examination and Reissue applications.
