Kevin R. Peska is the managing attorney of the Office of Trademark Quality Review and Training (OTQRT) at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), a position he has held since 2003. Prior to that, he served as a senior staff attorney in OTQRT from 2002-2003. From 1999-2002, Kevin served as the senior attorney and the acting managing attorney for Trademark Law Office 111. He also served as a staff attorney in the Office of the Commissioner for Trademarks in 1999. He joined the USPTO in 1992 as a trademark examining attorney.
Kevin received his Juris Doctor in 1991 from the George Washington University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in history in 1988 from the University of Florida. He is formerly an adjunct professor for the Small Business and Community Development Clinic at the George Washington University School of Law.
