Rise in Women Inventors

Join U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Rocky Mountain Regional Director Molly Kocialski for a discussion of the recent report “Progress and Potential: A profile of women inventors on U.S. patents.” Registration and lunch are free, but seating is limited. Learn more and register early.

The report was prepared by the USPTO’s Office of the Chief Economist in collaboration with research teams from the University of Bordeaux (France) and Bocconi University, Milan (Italy), and analyzes participation of women in the patent process over the past 40 years.

Director Kocialski will also participate in the Utah Innovation Leaders Panel with Dr. Leena Bhoite, Dr. Jennifer Hwu, Sara Jones, and Dr. Terrece Pearman to discuss the value of patents and answer audience questions.
