Walk-ins are welcome! << After attending an info session, you can meet directly with recruiters to learn more about the unique technical qualifications we are looking for in engineers to hire as patent examiners. Our recruiters will be ready with answers to all your questions. You'll also receive information about our competitive salary, benefits, work-life balance, and why the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is consistently ranked one of the best places to work in the federal government. You will also have the opportunity to speak to USPTO recruiters about our current job openings and how to apply via USAJOBS.gov. There will be no job interviews at this event. Those who qualify will be encouraged to apply (candidates cannot be officially considered for open positions without submitting a completed application within USAJOBS.gov). # For all attendees coming to our hiring event in USPTO's Global IP Academy (GIPA) on Friday, Feb 28th please note the following arrival tips and plan your trip accordingly: Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Information Session (for registrants) OR your preferred Information Session (for walk-ins) in order to complete a simple security screening once you enter the Madison building. The Madison Building is identifiable by its soaring central glass atrium joining the east and west sides of the building. GIPA can be found on the East side of Madison -- upper atrium level.
