Celebrate World IP Day and this year's theme, "Reach for the Gold: IP and Sports," at a special USPTO event featuring Shawn Springs, entrepreneur and former professional football player. Springs and USPTO Deputy Director Laura Peter will discuss what inspired Shawn Springs to become an entrepreneur and an inventor.

After 13 seasons of playing in the NFL, Shawn Springs founded Windpact, a company focused on impact protection. The patented technology Crash Cloud is used in helmets to prevent traumatic head injuries.
