Intrusion protection shutters or grilles and also sun protection devices are covered by E06B 9/00. Door or window frames are covered by E06B 1/00. Door or window wings are covered by E06B 3/00. Hinges are classified in E05D and locks in E05B.

Overhead wings or doors are covered by E05D 13/00. External sun protection screens are classified in E04F 10/00. Louvre doors or windows with ventilating features are covered by E06B 7/08.
