Engineering and Invention! At the USPTO booth, students will make wind-up toys and paper containers inspired by inventions described in expired patents. They will be challenged to improve or build upon the original designs. USPTO Inventor Trading cards featuring various engineer/inventors will be given away. Information will be shared on the design, engineering, and invention processes and the role of patents and trademarks in helping people to protect their intellectual property.
