About the USPTO's National Trademark Expo

2016 National Trademark Expo

The 2016 National Trademark Expo will be held on October 21st and 22nd , 2016 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC.  The Expo is open to any owner of a federally-registered trademark.  The theme of the 2016 Expo will be “Movement and Energy.”  Space is limited.  Those interested in applying should submit the 2016 Application to exhibit.

Below you will find information about the 2014 National Trademark Expo which featured over 40 exhibitors, participants and displays. The Expo educated the public about trademarks, thereby advancing the USPTO's mission to deliver intellectual property information and education to the public.

The Opening Ceremony guest speakers who spoke about the importance of trademarks were:

  • Anson Williams, who starred in the television show Happy Days and now is an entrepreneur who owns trademarks, and
  • Mark Elliot, the Executive Vice President of the Global Intellectual Property Center of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
