Commerce Under Secretary for Intellectual Property Rogan To Announce Electronic Filing Partnerships As Part of Strategic Plan
James E. Rogan, the Under Secretary of Commerce for
Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and
Trademark Office (USPTO), will announce the award of
partnership contracts to five companies for the electronic
filing of patent applications as part of its strategic plan.
The partnerships are "no cost contracts" which means that the
companies will be providing their services to USPTO customers
at no cost to the agency.
