Green energy, intellectual property, and a solar eclipse panel discussion

In celebration of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, join the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) – Texas Regional Office (TXRO) in collaboration with the Texas Intellectual Property Alliance (TXIPA) for a viewing event on Monday, April 8, at Polsinelli Law Firm in Dallas. 

The event will include an engaging panel discussion on developing green energy sources, particularly solar energy, using game-changing technologies or methods to address climate change. 

Panelists will include:

  • Aaron Wilson, CEO of Solar One
  • Anna Clark, Vice President and Sustainability Practice Leader, Cooksey Communications
  • Dr. Eva Szalkai Csaky, Executive Director of the Hunt Institute

Moderator: Hope Shimabuku, Regional Director of the USPTO’s Texas Regional Office

Following the panel discussion, step out onto Polsinelli’s terrace with a complimentary pair of eclipse glasses to view the total eclipse from 1:41-1:45 p.m. CT. Due to expected increases in traffic, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Lunch will be served at noon CT. Scheduled programming will extend from noon to 1:15 p.m. CT to provide ample time to view the eclipse.
