Commerce Deputy Under Secretary to Address Midwest Businesses On U.S. Government Efforts to Combat Counterfeiting and Piracy in China
Washington, D.C. — Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property Stephen Pinkos will deliver a keynote address to approximately 500 businessmen and women during a conference on doing business in China on May 23, 2006, in Cleveland. The conference, hosted by the Commerce Department’s U.S. Commercial Service, will provide information useful to manufacturing companies entering the China market for the first time as well as those already established in China. Mr. Pinkos will outline the U.S. government’s views and efforts in intellectual property protection and enforcement.
