Celebrating 10 years of the Inventor Collectible Trading Cards

The United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Inventor Collectible Trading Card series is an educational resource generated by the USPTO's education team in the Office of Public Engagement, primarily for K-12 learners and educators.

We seek to promote inventors from a broad cross-section of the population and intend to include as many inventors as possible over time. The Inventor Collectible Cards are intended to promote invention and innovation and reduce barriers to inclusion.

We continually look for opportunities to create teachable moments and spark student interest in inventing, creativity, science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), innovation, and tenacity. While educational themes related to content are the primary consideration when selecting inventors, we also emphasize equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility among inventors featured on the cards.

The USPTO is looking to spotlight new inventors to help inspire the next generation of young inventors.
