Technology Assessment and Forecast Program

The Technology Assessment and Forecast (TAF) Program is a division of the Office of Electronic Information Products (OEIP).

The TAF Program periodically issues general statistical reports which profile patenting activity at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Several TAF reports are free while other products as well as services are available at reasonable cost. Specialized services and custom reports are available subject to the availability of resources.
