1. A junction box comprising:
a housing comprising sidewalls and a bottom attached to the sidewalls, the bottom having an interior side and an exterior side, the exterior side of the bottom is configured to be mounted to a roof of a structure;
a weep hole defined in the housing;
a flashing attached to the housing and extending horizontally from the housing, the flashing formed with the housing;
portion defined in the interior side of the bottom defined by a groove, the portion defining a position for creating a hole in the bottom; and
plurality of fastener openings in the bottom, each fastener opening configured for a fastener positionable within the fastener opening, wherein securing a fastener through a fastener opening of the plurality of fastener openings contributes to securing the housing to the roof,
wherein each of the plurality of fastener openings in the bottom comprises a boss, each boss extending away from a bottom interior surface of the bottom.

[ 21. A junction box for mounting to the roof of a structure, the junction box comprising: a housing comprising sidewalls and a bottom attached to the sidewalls, the bottom having an interior side and an exterior side, wherein the exterior side of the bottom is configured to be mounted to the roof of a structure; a weep hole defined in the housing; a flashing attached to the housing and extending horizontally from the housing, the flashing formed with the housing; a sealant disposed on the exterior side of the bottom of the housing to form a seal between the junction box and the roof of the structure, the sealant surrounding at least an upper portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion of a central area of the bottom; and a drill zone defined by a marking in the interior side of the bottom, the drill zone indicating the central area that lies within the sealant disposed on the exterior side of the bottom of the housing; a plurality of bosses each surrounding a recess formed at a location in the interior side of the bottom in line with the sealant disposed on the exterior side of the bottom, each of the plurality of bosses extending away from the interior side of the bottom to receive a fastener that, when secured though the recess, passes though the sealant to thereby compress the sealant and thereby contribute to securing the housing to the roof of the structure.]
[ 22. The junction box of claim 21 wherein the drill zone indicates where the one or more holes drilled in the bottom will avoid the sealant disposed on the exterior side of the bottom.]
[ 23. The junction box of claim 21 wherein the marking in the interior side of the bottom is a groove defining the drill zone.]
[ 24. The junction box of claim 21 wherein the drill zone corresponds to a position for an installer to create a hole in the bottom that is sized to accommodate a wire running through the bottom of the housing and into an interior of the structure within the central area of the sealant.]
[ 25. The junction box of claim 24 wherein the fastener, when secured through the recess in the bottom, extends through the sealant and into the roof of the structure to thereby compress the sealant and thereby form a seal around the central area to thereby prevent moisture from entering the interior of the structure.]
[ 26. The junction box of claim 21 wherein the recess is a fastener opening.]
[ 27. The junction box of claim 21 wherein the sealant is disposed along an entire top and sides of the central area but only a portion of a bottom of the central area to create a gap in the sealant that permits water in the central area to drain.]
[ 28. The junction box of claim 21 wherein the drill zone denotes a region that is sufficiently far away from the sealant to prevent damage that may lead to allowing water or other liquid to be within the central area.]
